Always the best policy

Bob Durham's Blog | Always the best policy

I've had a lot of jobs over the years but only two that I considered careers. Law Enforcement and vehicle sales. Now those are WIDELY divergent and yet, I keep finding similarities between them.

Both are careers where perception matters. It seems that there is always someone ready to tell about a LEO who was in the wrong. And there is always someone who wants to tell you about crooked car sales people. Are all of these stories false? Sadly, no. There are bad apples in EVERY profession. Are all of those stories true? Absolutely not. Think about your own career path. I'll wager that you have encountered someone doing the same job as you, but who just doesn't belong in it. Someone who is a bad representation of the industry.

Integrity. Doing what you say you will do. Regardless of circumstance, if you promise it then you deliver it. No questions asked. That is the standard. It was how I conducted myself as a patrol officer, as a detective and as a patrol sergeant.

I hold myself to that same standard in the car business. And I am proud to say that I work for a dealership who believes that is the way it should be as well. But don't just take my word for it. Let me demonstrate that I back up my stance of selling cars the way that I would want to buy one. If it is a sales tactic that I don't like having done to me, I will not do it to you.

Read my reviews. Check me on Google. Come by the dealership and ask to see my customer surveys. If you want to be sure that you get what you expect in customer service, then you GOT TO SEE BOB D
